Heavy rains the last day or so. Our roof is leaking, bubbling the drywall in the ceilings. Behind one of the many additions on the back of the house the stem wall and finished grade were done incorrectly, with dirt backing up above the concrete footing. We dug it out a bit but obviously not enough, as part of the basement laundry room and apartment now have upwards of an inch of standing water in the low places. No major damage so far, but today Matt is home digging out the mud against the back of the house and I am scooping water into buckets and dumping it outside. Anyone have a Submersible Pump? No real posts today, maybe we will have dried out enough tomorrow.
