Ug, sorry!

Our time has been constrained lately. With everything we have going on this season, I just have not been able to find the time to sit and write a blog, e-mail, and keep up with all that's happening. I would love to have been able to keep this space updated with every little detail, but simply cannot get to it. I feel so bad about it. Some days, I wish I just had a few more hours in my day . I k[...]

This is a shout out to particularly Beth over at Give1Save1 who was very informative and helpful in preparing for our featured week on her blog Give1Save1.com, and also to all those who follow the blog and all who shared the video!  God is so good to knit his people together in love and community, and we have felt that more than ever in the last week!  We just wanted to say thank you! http://vi[...]

Day FIVE

Ana's Adoption Financials It seems that everyone who adopts, whether internationally or domestically is plagued with varying information, duplicate fees, and the challenge of accurately determining expenses for the process to be completed.  We've moved very fast in the process and made quick decisions too, which further exasperates that.  But in a call to be good stewards, also with the money tha[...]

Day FOUR

Far more abundantly than all that we ask or think. That line has stood out to me this week. Immeasurably more. Where do I even start? Honestly, words have escaped me time and time again. In conversation at school, or the coffee shop, over the phone, on facebook. I just stand there, mouth agape. Unable to form coherent verbiage that in any way shape or form MIGHT be able to even scratc[...]

Our girls are always cracking us up in how they explore this amazing world they live in. We were at Mt. Hood, OR this weekend, and it seems they had more fun in the parking lot outside the condo building than anywhere else. Praise God for kids being kids! Pia On Ice http://vimeo.com/53597279

Day THREE

You've shown us how God does big things with so little. Three days ago, we started asking for $1... JUST ONE DOLLAR. And now He has multiplied that again, and again, and again, and again. We are getting so close to our give1save1.com fundraising goal and having our agency costs covered! We are so blessed by your generousity.... SO BLESSED! TOGETHER, WE  ARE  GOING  TO  BRING  ANA HOME!

Day TWO

Yesterday, we were FLOORED. Today, we feel SMALL.   Because GOD is so BIG. I [M] got home at a normal time yesterday from work and found the house quiet and not in a state of disarray (which has been the new normal), and was greeted with a smile and a kiss.  Good start of the end of the day! The girls had cleaned up their rooms and toys and books and schoolwork and were being rewarded [...]

Day ONE

Today, Tuesday morning, Matt's alarm went off at 5:45. His phone was across the room, plugged in to charge overnight after we returned home super late last night and crashed. I stumble across the end of our bed, bumping over a disturbed-and-now-cranky cat curled into a ball on one corner, and hit snooze. Matt has guys to meet at 6:30; I have kids to get to school in 2 hours. Coming off a 4 day wee[...]

http://vimeo.com/52052365 A Heart for Ana :: the Grummer Family's Story Check out our video! Our dear friends, Blake & Janelle of J+B Video made this for us on one sunny afternoon at Discovery Park. We had so much fun with them!! (And finally found a use for all the polaroids I take)
